JULIA LYLES GUICE
Julia Lyles Guice is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Guice of Biloxi. Her maternal
grandparents are Ms. Ann Monahan Gary and Mr. and Mrs. David A. Gary, also of Biloxi. Her paternal grandparents are Ms. Ann Guice, and Mr. and Mrs. William Lee Guice, III of Ocean Springs.
Julia is a Senior at Biloxi High School where she has maintained All A’s Honor Roll
for 4 years and is a 2023 AP Scholar, a World History Excellence Award recipient, and a member of Biloxi High’s Hall of Fame. Julia is a member of the Biloxi High Student Council (since 2020) and is Senior Class Secretary. She is a member of the National Honors Society, Psi Alpha Psychology Honor Society, which she is the treasurer of, Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society; Beta Club; and secretary of Biloxi High School Campus Service Council. Julia has been a BHS Diamond Girl since 2021 and belongs to the Junior Auxiliary Crown Club, is a design chair for the Gabrielle’s Trendsetters program, and a founding member of the BHS Pickleball Club. She was the Top Fundraiser for Campus Service Council in 2021 and 2023.She was also recently voted most likely to succeed.
Julia is heavily involved in community service and has recently supported “Project
Presents” (which gives families presents during Christmas), “Be the Light” Suicide
Prevention event, which she co-organized and spoke at, and the Trendsetter Fashion Show Fundraiser.
Julia’s grandmother, Martha Guice was Queen Ixolib in 1930. Her grandfather, William Lee Guice, III was a Duke in 1986. Her grandmother Ann Guice served as GCCA Executive Director and board member in 1987-1990. Julia’s father, Billy Guice, was a Duke in 2016. Julia was a page to Queen Ixolib in 2018; and her cousin Kennedy Eure served as a flag bearer the same year. Her cousin, Peyton Mohan, was a maid in 2020; and her cousin Gunner Eure served as Flag Bearer. Julia’s brother, Riggs Guice, served as a page to King D’Iberville in 2022. Julia is planning to attend Auburn University in the fall.
