Parade

The Gulf Coast Carnival Associations Mardi Gras Day Parade started in 1908 and included 17 floats, 50 flambeau carriers, the new 12-piece Herald Newspaper Band, a grand marshal, the mayor and the councilmen. The monarchs were the first King d’Iberville and Queen Ixolib.

GCCA, 117 years later, boasts 24 association floats and, many private entry floats.

Float Rider Meeting

GCCA, City of Biloxi, Biloxi Fire Department and Biloxi Police Department mandatory float rider meeting will be held in January 2025, the doors will open at 5:30 pm, meeting will begin at 6 pm. This meeting is mandatory, and each parade entrant must have representation. If you have not completed registration prior to the meeting, we will accept full applications, which must include proof of insurance, prior to the start of the meeting.
