Jeffrey Ward Bertucci, Jr.

Jeffrey Ward Bertucci, Jr. of Gulfport is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Ward. Bertucci, Sr. of Gulfport.  His paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bertucci of Gulfport.  His maternal grandparents are Col. and Mrs. Steven Farragut of Gulfport.

Ward is a fourth grade honor student at Bayou View Elementary where he received the Kiwanis Terrific Kid Award and the Good Citizen Award.  He is a member of the SMSC Elite Soccer Team, Gulfport Commodores baseball team and Bayou View Elementary Flag football team.  He and his family are members of Trinity United Methodist Church.  

His father, Jeff Bertucci, served as a Page in 1994 and as a Duke in 2019.  His grandfather, Frank E. Bertucci, served as a Duke in 1986, Lieutenant of Carnival in 1991-1992, King d’Iberville in 1994 and GCCA Board Chairman in 2002-2003.  His great-grandfather, Frank Bertucci, served a King d’Iberville in 1961.

ISABELLA LEE CARTER

Isabella Lee Carter is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Carter of Gulfport. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joel Richard “Rick” Carter, Sr. and Ms. Glenda Carter. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Karson Bates and Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Walters.
Isabella is a student at Bayou View Elementary School. She plays softball and golf and is a member of Jess Dance competition team. She and her family are members of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport.
Her grandfather, Joel Richard “Rick” Carter, was a duke in 2007 and King d’Iberville in 2009. Her father, Jake Carter, was a duke in 2015. Her sister, Mia Carter, was a page in 2015 and a flag bearer in 2017. Her sister, Ava Carter, is a 2023 flag bearer. Her aunt, Christina Carter Burks, was a maid in 2010 and Queen Ixolib in 2012. Her aunt, Alexa Carter, was a maid in 2012 and Queen Ixolib in 2015.

John Arends Neumann

John Arends Neumann of Biloxi is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Charles Neumann. His paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles George Neumann of Ocean Springs. His maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William Joseph Dorgan of Point Clear, Alabama. John Arends is a 4th grade honor roll student at St. James Catholic Elementary School and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. 

John Arends has been the proud recipient of the St. James Catholic School Handwriting Award, Music Award, Magnificent Math Award, Accelerated Reader Award, Young Christian Award and Coke Zero Hero Award. He is a member of the boys’ football and basketball teams at St. James Catholic School. John Arends plays on the Mississippi Coast Wave Travel Soccer Team and for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Knights Baseball Organization. He is also a member of the Gulfport Yacht Club Swim Team and has earned several ribbons in swim meets.  

In John Arends’s free time, he likes to play outside with friends, swim, attend summer camps, read, travel, and spend time with family. 

John Arends’s father, David Charles Neumann, was a duke in 2018 to King d’Iberville Keith Williams and served as the dukes’ liaison in 2019. His brother, George David Neumann, served as a page in 2020 to King d’Iberville John W. Atherton and as a flag bearer in 2022.  

Peyton Elizabeth Schwartz

Peyton Elizabeth Schwartz of Ocean Springs is the daughter Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thomas Schwartz. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John E. Swartz, III of Hattiesburg, MS. Her maternal grandparents are Ms. Roxie Hatten and the Late Mr. Walter Hatten of Perkinston, MS.

Peyton is an honor roll student at St. James Catholic School and is the recipient of the Kiwana’s Terrific Kid Award and Coke Zero Hero Award. She is also active in dance and tennis. She and her family attends St. James Catholic Church where she is an alter server.
Peyton’s father, Robert Schwartz, was a duke in 2001 and 2014.
