Ava Rose Emerson Lesso

Ava Rose Lesso is the daughter of the late Mr. Rudy Lesso III and the late Ms. Terah Lesso, and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Mavar of Biloxi, Mississippi. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Lesso, Jr. of Biloxi, Mississippi.

Ava Rose is a senior at St. Patrick Catholic High School, where she played varsity volleyball and served as co-captain of the varsity cheerleading squad. She is a member of the Student Council and serves as Vice President of the Cotillion Club of Gulfport.

In the fall, Ava will attend The University of Alabama, where she plans to major in political science on the pre-law track. She is a parishioner of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.

Ava was a Gulf Coast Carnival Association Flag Bearer in 2022. Her brother, Jarrod, was a Flag Bearer in 2008. Her brother, Christopher, served as a Page to King d’Iberville in 2014 and was a Flag Bearer in 2018. Her brother, Ryan, served as a Page to King d’Iberville in 2018 and was a Flag Bearer in 2022. Her sister, Caty, was a Flag Bearer in 2010, a Maid in 2018, and Queen Ixolib in 2019. Her father, Mark, served as a Duke in 1999 and was crowned King d’Iberville in 2012.
