Blakeley Daine Blacklidge

Blakeley Daine Blacklidge is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Brittany Blacklidge of Gulfport, MS. Her paternal grandparents are Ms. Donna Payne and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Blacklidge Sr., all of Gulfport, MS. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Craven of Meridian, MS.

Blakeley is an honor roll student at St. James Catholic School where she is a fifth-grade cheerleader. She has cheered competitively with Cheerzone Athletics for four years where she is currently a member of team Twister. She loves to tumble,  shopping and playing with friends. Blakeley  is a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Gulfport and loves to attend Winshape Camp in Georgia in the summer. 

Blakeley’s father, Brit Blacklidge, was a duke to King d’Ibervillein 2022; Blakeley’s sister, Alex Blacklidge, was a flag bearer in 2019. She also has a long lineage of extended family members as well that has served a royalty within other area Mardi Gras organizations.

William Caffrey Descher

William Caffrey Descher of Ocean Springs is the son of Gregg and Meredith Cash Descher. His maternal grandparents are Mr. & Mrs. Robert Tucei of Biloxi and Mr. & Mrs. Philip Cash of Delhi, LA. His paternal grandparents are Mr. & Mrs. Bill Descher of Ocean Springs. Caffrey is a 5th grade honor student at Lighthouse Academy in Ocean Springs. 

He has played travel baseball since 2021 for the SBG Sox Baseball Organization.  He is currently a member of the SBG Sox 11U Baseball Team and plays travel ball with SBG year round as a pitcher, 1st baseman and center fielder.  Caffrey enjoys playing baseball, fishing, boating, snow skiing, Alabama football & baseball, riding his electric bike and spending time with his family & friends.  He and his family are members at St. Paul Methodist Church, Ocean Springs.

Caffrey’s mother, Meredith Cash Descher was a Maid in 1997. His father, Gregg Descher served as Duke in 2012 & 2013. His sister Kate was a Royal Page to King D’Iberville in 2013, then Flag Bearer in 2015.  His uncle Jeff Descher served as Duke in 2014. Caffrey’s sister, Mary Carlton served as Royal Page to Queen Ixolib in 2019, then Flag Bearer in 2022.

Louisa June Spear

Louisa June Spear is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Spear of Gulfport.  She is the granddaughter of Mr. Dave Dennis and the late Mrs. Jane Dennis of Pass Christian.  Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Spear of Slidell, LA.

Louisa is an honor student at St. James Catholic School where she is a cheerleader and member of the track team.  She has been named Young Christian, Kiwanis Terrific Kid, and earned music and P.E. awards.  Louisa enjoys reading, art, prayer time, traveling, and spending time with friends.  She and her family are parishioners of St. James Catholic Church.

Louisa’s grandfather, Dave Dennis, was a Duke in 1987, Lieutenant of Carnival in 1989 and 1990, Captain of Carnival in 1991 and 1992, reigned as King d’Iberville in 1995, and serves on the GCCA Board of Directors.  Her late grandmother, Jane Dennis, served on the GCCA Board of Directors.  Her uncle, Padrick Dennis, was a Page in 1995, a Flag Bearer in 1997, and serves on the GCCA Board of Directors.  Louisa’s mother, Kate Dennis Spear, was a Page in 1992, reigned as Queen Ixolib in 2005, and serves on the GCCA Board of Directors.

Grayson Thomas Schwartz

Grayson Thomas Schwartz of Ocean Springs is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thomas Schwartz. His paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John E. Schwartz, III of Hattiesburg, MS.  His maternal grandparents are Ms. Roxie Hatten and the Late Mr. Walter Hatten of Perkinston, MS.

Grayson attends St. James Catholic Elementary school.  He plays baseball for the Gulfport Commodores and plays football and basketball for St. James Elementary School.  In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing with his family. He and his family attends St. James Catholic Church where she is an alter server.

His father, Robert Schwartz, was a duke in 2001 and 2014.  His sister Peyton served as a 2023 royal page to Queen Ixolib and a 2025 flag bearer.
