2020 Flag Bearers Announced

MARIAN “ANSLEY” ANDERSON is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Brandon “Craig” Anderson and Cameron Corhern Anderson of Gulfport. She attends Bayou View Middle School where she is a cheerleader and volleyball player. She is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, Student Council (Recording Secretary), and Journalism Annual staff. Ansley attends St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where she is a member of the Trinity Youth Group.

MCCHAREN “MAC” PARKES ANDERSON is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Brandon “Craig” Anderson of Gulfport.  She attends Bayou View Elementary School where she is a cheerleader.  Mac is also a cheerleader at Cheer Force One.  She attends St. Marks Episcopal Church.

FINLEY KATHERINE BUFORD is the daughter of Jeremy and Ashley Buford of Gulfport.  She attends Bayou View Middle School.  Finley enjoys tennis at Bayou Bluff Tennis Club and hanging out with her friends. Finley attends Trinity United Methodist  Church where she is involved with the youth group.  Finley’s Brother, Ryan was a flag bearer in 2019.

CAROLINE ANNE CLARK is the daughter of Jennifer and Brax Clark of Gulfport.  She attends Bayou View Elementary School where she is on the Honor Roll, Principal’s List and selected to serve on the Student Council and is a cheerleader.  She is a dancer at Donna’s Visual and Performing Arts Studio, a member of the Gulfport Yacht Club swim team. She loves dance, tennis, and cooking. Caroline attends St. James Catholic Church.  Her Father was a Duke to King d’Iberville in 2018.

GUNNER DAVID EURE is the son of Casey and Jill Eure of Saucier.  He attends North Woolmarket Middle School.  Gunner enjoys playing baseball, basketball, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.  His sister Kennedy Eure was a flag bearer in 2018 and his uncle, William Lee Guice, IV, was a Duke in 2016.

SADIE ROSE JOACHIM is the daughter of Todd and Sally Joachim of Biloxi.  She attends Coast Episcopal School.  Sadie is an elite gymnast and current state level 7 Mississippi champion with aspirations of going to the Junior Olympics.  She enjoys playing the trumpet and playing board games with family and friends.  Her Aunt Bessie Marie served as Queen Ixolib in 1953, her great grandfather, Frank P. Corso, Sr., served as King d’Ibrville in 1956, her grandmother served as Queen Ixolib in 1960, her great uncle, James Corso, served as King d’Iberville in 1980 her Her Aunt, Elisa, served as Queen Ixolib in 1990, her uncle, John Joachim, III, was a duke in 2005 and her father, Todd Joachim was a flagbearer.

KENNER MARTIN MCCALEB is the son of Dr. Robby and Shanel Williams of Biloxi.  He is an honor student at Nativity BVM Elementary School where he plays on the basketball team and is a member of the robotics and track team.  Kenner plays Biloxi little league baseball, is on the Biloxi All Star baseball team, Biloxi Bombers baseball team, and the Biloxi Breakers soccer team. He enjoys dirt biking riding, deep sea fishing, snow skiing and going to all Ole Miss sporting events.  Kenner was a page to King d’Iberville in 2019. His mother, Shanel Williams, served as Maid to Queen Ixolib in 2004, his father, Robby Williams, served as Duke to King d’Iberville in 2019, his brother, Riggs McCaleb, served as page to King d’Iberville in 2019. His grandfather, James F. “Jim” Hardin served as Duke to King d’Iberville in 2007 and as King d’Iberville in 2019, his uncle, Cole Hardin, served as flag bearer in 2005, his uncle, Joseph Leckich, served as Duke in 1980, his uncle Johnny Mallet served as Duke in 1997 and 2019 and his uncle Presley Mallet served as Duke in 2015.

WILLIAM “WILL” THOMAS PARKER is the son of Dr. Jeremy and Melissa Parker of Biloxi.  He is an honor student at Biloxi Junior High School where he plays football and baseball.  He enjoys cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels, playing outside with friends, and playing video games.  Will attends Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where he is a member of the Eagle Youth Group and an alter server.

LUKE FREDERICK SHAW is the son of Wendy and Richard Figer and Matthew Shaw of Biloxi.  He is an A-Honor Student at St. James Catholic Elementary School.  Luke enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing and snow skiing.  His sister, Gabrielle Shaw, served as a flag bearer in 2016.

ELIZA LEE WILLIAMS is the daughter of Adam and Donna Haynes-Freeney and Ric and Heather Williams of Gulfport.  She attends Bayou View Middle School where she is a cheerleader.  Eliza enjoys gymnastics, competitive dance, and sailing.  She attends Westminster Presbyterian Church.  Her mother, Donna, served as Queen Ixolib in 1991, her grandfather, James Haynes, served as King d’Iberville in 2007, her father, Ric Williams, served as Duke in 2004, her sister, Analeise, served a page to Queen Ixolib in 2012, her Aunt, Denise Haynes, served as Queen Ixolib in 2001 and both brothers, Braxton and Hudson, served as flag bearers in 2016 and 2019.
